Description
Guthrie County is seeking a full-time Diesel Technician to join our Secondary Road Department Team. This position is responsible for diagnosing, servicing, and repairing vehicles according to County and OEM guidelines with moderate supervision. Strong communication skills for discussing needed repairs to management.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma
- Work experience or technical degree in related field preferred
- Commercial Driver’s License (CDL) or ability to secure one within 6 months of hire
- Tuition and cost to obtain coverage available
- Be able to pass a pre-employment physical and drug screen
