Summer Food Steam Program

Iowa Concern Hotline

Iowa Concern is a program of the Iowa State University Extension and Outreach. The program began in 1985 as a toll-free number serving the agricultural community. Today, Iowa Concern serves both urban and rural Iowans. Iowa Concern services are available 24 hours a day, seven days per week at no charge. May 15 Deadline                                                                  

If you plan to exhibit at the Guthrie County Fair, all animals listed including horses, all beef (including bottle calves), sheep, goats, swine, and dogs must be identified on 4H online by May 15. Animals that don’t need to be identified for Guthrie County Fair include pets, rabbits and poultry.

Macrame and Candle Workshop

While candles are curing learn how to macrame knots to create a macramé coaster. Cost for this class is $40 for first candle and $20 for each additional candle.
