Macrame and Candle Workshop

  • Join us for an amazing candle making workshop where you learn candle making is much more than just melting wax. Learn how to pair fragrances to create your own signature scent. While candles are curing learn how to macrame knots to create a macramé coaster. Cost for this class is $40 for first candle and $20 for each additional candle. Adult Terrarium Workshops

  • Join us for the annual Ag Coffee Series at the Guthrie County Extension office. All events are free. No registration required. 

Livestock Workshop

  • April 26, 9:00 a.m. to noon
  • Greene County Fairgrounds
  • YQCA Certification beginning at 1 p.m.
  • Dog Frisbee training and exploration from 1-2 p.m.
  • Lunch Provided by the Tri-County Cattlemen’s groups
  • Cost: $15/youth ages: 3rd – 12th Grade
  • This is for youth who want to become more skilled or want to learn more at one or two species. Each species will go over general and daily care of an animal, fitting and grooming, feeding and more.

Seed Starting Workshop

  • Wednesday, March 19, 6 p.m.
  • Panorama High School Greenhouse
  • Participants will learn how to start vegetables from seed and plant seeds to grow bedding plants for your garden. Seed and planting materials provided. Cost $10.

4-H Enrollment Open

  • Enrollment for the 2023 4-H year is officially open. 4-H is a community of 6 million young people across the world who are learning how to live healthily, be leaders, become engaged in their communities, and use science and technology to make good decisions for their future and their communities’ future. 4-H offers opportunities for youth of all backgrounds; you do not need to live on the farm to join. There are opportunities to build your communication skills, leadership skills, create projects in various areas such as welding, sewing, community service, photography, visual arts and more, as well as show some of those interesting animals you might have at home.
