Guthrie County Deputy Sheriff Kent Gries reported a vehicle-deer accident occurring on July 6 at 1:19 p.m. on Highway 25.
Laura Marie Rief, 52, of Council Bluffs, was driving a 2016 Ford Focus SE northbound on Highway 25 in the 2900 block and struck a deer in the roadway.
Estimated damage to the Ford Focus is $4,000.
