On Aug. 24, a total of nine players participated. Jim Carico got a 24 and a 16. Rober Klever got a 20. Dave Richter hauled in a 16, and Rhonda Titus got a 16 and a 20.
On Aug. 26, a total of 18 players participated. Dennis Betts started with a 16. Rhonda Titus got four 16s. Joanne Zieser had a 16. Sue Mozingo got a 16 and a 24. Jim Carico a 16. Bill Sheeder scored a 16. Lillian Gelson had a 24. Peggy Lillian’s daughter got a 16, and Kathy Feilmeier brought in a 20.
The Guthrie Center cribbage players generally meet at Guthrie Center Library on Mondays at 8 a.m., at the New Homestead independent living rec room at 8 a.m. on Wednesdays, and at the Guthrie Center Activity Center at 1 p.m. on Fridays. Organizers say there is always room for more, and they will be glad to teach you how to play. They play for quarters on Wednesday and Friday.
