The Guthrie Center cribbage players meet at Guthrie Center Library on Mondays at 8 a.m., at the assisted living rec room at 8 a.m. on Wednesdays, and at the Guthrie Center Activity Center at 1 p.m. on Fridays. Organizers say there is always room for more, and they will be glad to teach you how to play.
On March 8, a total of 11 players participated. Right off the bat, Joanne Zieser raked in a 24 and another 16 later. Kay Phippen got a 16, and Jim Carico squawked out a 16 and a 20.
On March 1, a total of 13 players participated. Rhonda Titus got a 17 and a 20, Sue Moaingo got two 16’s, Bill Sheeder got a 17 and a 16, Wayne Nickel got a 16 and an 18, Joanne Zieser got a 17, and Jim Carico, Kay Phippen and Dan Webb each got a 16.
