The Guthrie Center cribbage players meet at Guthrie Center Library on Mondays at 8 a.m., at the assisted living rec room at 8 a.m. on Wednesdays, and at the Guthrie Center Activity Center at 1 p.m. on Fridays. Organizers say there is always room for more, and they will be glad to teach you how to play.
On Jan 19, six players braved the cold air. Dave Richter, Rhonda Titus and Robert Klever each got a 16.
On Jan. 22, a total of 14 people played. Lilian Gilson had 2-16, Jim Carico, Bill Sheeder, Rhonda Titus, Kay Phippen, Allen Pierce and Joanne Zieser all got a 16. Deb Kiefer and Dan Webb got a 17. Pierce pulled in a 20. Klever scored a 24.
