The ACGC FFA Chapter had six members exhibit projects at the Iowa State Fair Aug. 6-18 in various categories. Two of these members exhibited livestock projects during the 2024 events.

Gracie Hodges exhibited her Breeding Beef project, a registered Simmental Heifer. She received fifth in her class and a blue ribbon.

Lilly Rochholz exhibited three swine exhibits at the state fair. Receiving blues in all classes, she also received ninth in her class with her Market Barrow and fifth in her class with her Market Gilt.

Along with the livestock exhibitors in the chapter, four of the members took static projects. Wyatt Rudy entered an ag mechanics class and restored a 1951 Farmall M for a project and received a blue ribbon. Three chapter members entered various photography classes at the State Fair as well. Calleigh Wolfe had three photos entered and received one blue and two whites. Shay Lemke entered one photo for the chapter and received a white ribbon, and Tucker Carroll entered three photos and received two reds and a white ribbon.

The ACGC FFA Chapter is proud of its members and their accomplishments at the 2024 Iowa State Fair. We know it takes a great deal of work and dedication to take projects like these to fair. Congratulations to all our members and ACGC students who exhibited projects.
