New Homestead Senior Living is offering several events in May.

In celebration of May Beef Month and National Nursing Home Week, New Homestead is partnering with the Guthrie County Cattlemen to offer a drive-through grill-out event on May 14 from 5-7 p.m. at the Independent Living parking lot. The meal is offered for a freewill donation, and includes hamburgers, chips and a cookie. Proceeds will go to the local food pantry to support local families in need.

Also on May 14, Blank Park Zoo is presenting a program for residents and Guthrie Center first graders about some of the zoo’s animals.

On May 17, Guthrie Center Elementary school band will perform at 1:30 p.m.

Then, on May 22, New Homestead is a proud supporter and water provider for the Guthrie Center Elementary Track Day at the high school track.
