On Saturday, May 18, hundreds of riders participated in the second annual Red, White & Blue Cruise through Guthrie County, many in side-by-side utility vehicles and Jeeps. The event was a fundraiser and honored all veterans and active members of military service. Attendees gathered at the Guthrie County Fairgrounds Saturday morning and started off with breakfast. They then drove to various stops on the day’s agenda, which included Shootout Saloon in Dexter, Ruby’s Pub & Grill in Stuart, Short’s Place in Menlo, Casey Creamery and Tin Lizzies Sports Bar in Casey, and Blue Goose Tavern in Adair. A poker run was added this year. After the ride, the band Ghost Riderz played at the fairgrounds.
