Both coming off successful 2023 campaigns, the ACGC boys and girls cross country teams will be traveling to the Gowrie Municipal Golf Course for their first races of the season. The boys finished second place at the state meet last season and will look to replicate that success. Gavin Sloss is returning, currently ranked 19th individually among 1A runners. The Charger girls team is returning several runners from its fifth-place finish at state last season including Ava Campbell, Cadence Peterson, Adalyn Bensen, Paige Van Meter and Emmarae Ellis. Campbell hit ninth in the preseason individual rankings for 1A runners.
