The victory on Wednesday, July 3 against West Central Valley helps solidify ACGC’s fifth-place spot in the top half of the West Central Activities Conference. ACGC took a three-run lead in the top of the first inning and never surrendered the lead. Emerson Van Meter’s three RBI performance was a huge factor in the game. RBIs also came from Mersadez Richter, Belle Fagan and Carley Fagan. Van Meter also pitched a complete game. The senior threw 111 pitches, struck out seven batters, and allowed six hits. ACGC will travel to face No. 15 Treynor (14-10) today, Friday, July 5. This gives the Chargers a chance to reach .500 before their regional playoff game against West Central Valley on Monday, July 8.
