ACGC baseball (2-22) picked up its second win of the season away from home against West Central Valley (6-21) on Wednesday, July 3. The Chargers took a 1-0 lead in the first inning, added three runs in the fourth inning and one more in the sixth to put away the Wildcats. RBIs on the day came from Colton Clark, with two, and Chase Slaybaugh and Noah Kading, each with one. Blaize Dorsey pitched a complete game, earning the win. In seven innings, Dorsey threw 100 pitches, allowing six hits and striking out three batters. ACGC will play in the first round of 1A substate against a tough Lynnville-Sully (22-3) away from home on Saturday, July 6.
