Currently ranked fourth among 1A individuals, Gavin Sloss, had the best ACGC performance at the meet, finishing 14th in 17:50.1.

“I was impressed by the level of competition at the meet, and I think it’s a huge benefit to our kids to be running against such good teams right now,” Head Coach Rick Blake said of both the girls and the boys teams competing that day.

The next competition for the boys will be Thursday, Sept. 12, when they’ll compete in Ames in a 19-team field.
