On Monday, May 6, ACGC boys track and field hosted 13 other schools at the Merritt-Charger Invitational. The Chargers finished third with 88 points. Madrid won the meet with 115.5. In second place with 91.5 points was Earlham. Treyton Schneider placed second in the 200-meter dash to earn silver. Eli Madsen took home a gold medal for his effort in the 400-meter dash. ACGC’s other gold-medal performances came in the 4×800 meter relay and Lance Bunde’s leap in the high jump.
