No. 5 ACGC boys basketball traveled to face CAM (4-8) on Monday, Jan. 20. ACGC struggled in the second quarter, getting outscored by nine points to go into the half down by nine. ACGC outscored CAM, 9-6, in the third quarter, chipping away at the CAM lead, down by six heading into the fourth quarter. The two teams exploded on offense in the final quarter, both producing their best scoring period of the game. ACGC outscored CAM, 28-22, tying the game and sending ACGC into overtime for the second game in a row. Seven was once again the lucky number in overtime for the Chargers, outscoring CAM, 7-5, to give them the close win. ACGC will hope for an easier result when the team travels to Ogden (5-7) tonight, Jan. 21.
