Panther girls finish ninth at Graceland meet

On Friday, March 22, the Panorama girls track and field team traveled to the Graceland University campus to compete in the Graceland High School meet. Mary Fett, in the 800-meter run, and the 4×200 meter relay team of Maddy Lutz, Fett, Laicey Lutz and Jaidyn Sellers both narrowly missed out on medals, finishing fourth in their respective races.

All-American Timing was in attendance to provide teams their timing services. The full results from the competition can be seen HERE.

55-meter dash:

• Miranda Laabs finished 20^th in 8.54
• Alexis Olson finished 29^th in 9.04
• Madelyn Carstens finished 33^rd in 9.25
• Addie Astley finished 37^th in 9.55

200-meter run:

• Miranda Laabs finished 13^th in 31.41
• Madelyn Carstens finished 24^th in 32.90
• Jolynne Roeder finished 32^nd in 34.64

4×200-meter relay:

• Laabs, Carstens, Astley and Roeder finished 9^th in 2:14.64

4×400-meter relay:

• Lutz, Fett, L. Lutz and Sellers finished 4^th in 4:52.71

800-meter run:

• Mary Fett finished 4^th in 2:47.29
• Laicey Lutz finished 6^th in 2:48.00
• Avery Bahrenfuss finished 27^th in 3:32.03

4×800-meter relay:

• Fett, M. Lutz, Bahrenfuss and L. Lutz finished 5^th in 12:33.46

Shot put:

• Lindy Nelson finished 8^th throwing 26-05.00
• Arilyan Steenblock finished 9^th throwing 26-03.00
