Panorama football falls to ACGC, 42-11

Panorama falls to 0-3 after a tough defeat against rival ACGC (3-0) on Friday, Sept. 13. Notable Panther performances came from Gavin Lindstrom, who went 7/9 in the air with 90 passing yards and one touchdown, caught by Connor Love. AJ Draper led the team on the ground with 16 carries and 64 rushing yards. Landon Kirtley led the defense with 5.5 total tackles. Reed Draper and Brayden Meinecke recovered one fumble each. It wasn’t all doom and gloom for the Panthers. Draper broke a school record in the second quarter by hitting a 49-yard field goal. This broke the previous school record of 44 yards, set in 2013 by Jonas Posner. Panorama’s next game will be a trip to Corydon where they will face Wayne (2-1). Panorama won last year’s contest, 35-6.

Panorama travels to Greene County for triangular tonight

Panorama volleyball (2-3) will play two games tonight, Tuesday, Sept. 17. The Panthers travel to Greene County High School where they will face Greene County (6-7) and South Central Calhoun (15-5).

Hot start continues for Chargers against Panorama, 42-11

Make that three on the bounce for ACGC (3-0). The Chargers defeated nearby rival Panorama (0-3) 42-11 on Friday, Sept. 17. Jathan South threw a season-high four completions for 53 yards and added 52 yards on the ground. Mike Fuller led the way in the rushing attack with 16 carries for 149 yards and two scores. Joe Crawford was just shy of the century mark with nine carries for 98 yards and three touchdowns. Jackson Pfrang also hit paydirt once on his three carries for 19 yards. Brexton Schneider led the way in tackles with 7.5, three of them for losses. Xander Harwood also had three tackles for losses. Fuller and Carter Richter had a sack each. Crawford had an interception. The Chargers will look to keep the good times rolling at home this Friday, Sept. 20 against South Central Calhoun (2-1).

Charger runners head to Panorama for meet this Thursday

On Thursday, Sept. 19, both the ACGC boys and girls cross country teams will make the short trip for the Panorama Cross Country meet. The girls will be running against 19 other teams, and the boys 20.
