By Cyote Williams | Times Vedette

The Panorama boys soccer team will take the field for the first time this season on Monday, March 31, at Harlan Community. The boys game will start at 7 p.m. after the girls game. Temperatures in the low 40s are expected. Harlan Community won the most recent matchup, 2-1, in 2023. Panorama is coming off of a 4-11 season in 2023-2024 and will aim to improve on that record this season. The boys have a lot of offensive firepower they will need to replace. Their two leading goal scorers from a year ago, according to Bound, were Braylon Dawes, now graduated, and Louis Czwalinna, an exchange student.

“It’s just going to be accounting for potential new hires for next year, making sure of their budgeted amounts in case they want insurance. We’ll do that at the family rate, just to be safe,” Fink said.

The supervisors voted to set a public hearing regarding the Fiscal Year 2026 budget on April 15 at 9:30 a.m.

The next regular meeting will be Tuesday, April 1 at 9 a.m. The public is welcome to attend in person or via remote technology. To join remotely, call 323-792-6123, then use meeting code 547029216#.
