Panorama cross country teams travel to South Hamilton for state-qualifying meet

The Panorama boys and girls cross country teams travel to South Hamilton on Thursday, Oct. 23 for the Class 1A SQM 7 meet. In order to qualify for the state meet, teams must either place first or second at the qualifier or finish in the top-10 as an individual. Other teams running at the South Hamilton location are Alta-Aurelia, Ankeny Christian, Ar-We-Va, Baxter, BCLUW, Conrad, Colfax Mingo, Colo-Nesco, East Marshall, LeGrand, GMG, Garwin, Madrid, Manson Northwest Webster, Melcher-Dallas, Meskwaki Settlement School, North Butler, Greene, South Hamilton, Jewell, Southeast Warren, Liberty Center, St. Edmond, Fort Dodge and Woodward Academy.
Panthers finish regular season with loss to Pleasantville, 56-7

The Panorama football team (1-7) competed against Pleasantville (7-1) at home on Friday, Oct. 17. The Panthers’ lone score in the contest came via an Austin Wagner rush. He finished the game with 67 yards and one TD. Brayden Meinecke led Panorama with 4.5 tackles, two of them for losses.

Panorama volleyball falls in Class 2A first round to South Central Calhoun, 3-1

The Panorama volleyball team (10-17) had its season end at the hands of South Central Calhoun (10-29) at home on Monday, Oct. 20. Panorama won the first set, 25-22 and lost the second set, 25-10. Panorama kept the final two sets close but was unable to pull out the victory, dropping sets three and four, 25-22 and 25-20. Individual stats were not available as of press time.
