Guthrie County Sheriff Matt Harmann reported a car vs. deer accident occurring on Dec. 16 at 4:22 p.m. on Highway 25. Sabrina Dawn Torneden, 41, of Derby, Kansas, was driving a 2025 Honda CRV northbound on Highway 25 and made contact with a deer that came out of the east ditch and entered the roadway. Estimated damage to the Honda is $5,000.
