Former Panorama girls basketball standout Tyme Boettcher was voted as an Honorable Mention in the American Rivers Conference All-Conference awards while playing with the Buena Vista University Beavers.
Boettcher, despite just missing out on all-conference accolades this season, ranked 13th in the A-R-C in scoring at 11.8 ppg, ninth in rebounding (6.4 rpg) and fifth in steals (1.9 spg). She shot just under 40% from the field and missed only one free-throw in conference play (22-of-23). In a home game at home against Dubuque on Jan. 31, Boettcher scored a season-high 20 points to go along with six rebounds and six assists as BVU completed the season sweep. During an overtime victory at Central, she turned in 17 points, including three makes from long range, to go along with four rebounds.
BVU, led by Head Coach Kylee Boettcher, another former Panther, reached 10 conference wins for the first time since 2009-10 and qualified for the conference tournament for the first time in eight seasons.
