Ava Campbell is ranked 10th among 1A cross country girls. She might climb that leaderboard after her close first-place finish at the ACGC meet on Thursday, Sept. 26. Campbell’s 20:39.00 finish narrowly beat Panorama’s Laicey Lutz’ time of 20:40.70. Cadence Peterson had the next best time for ACGC, finishing seventh in 22:23.60. Adalyn Benson followed her in 11th in 23:08.30. Jayla Hoover placed 13th in 23:27.60. Paige Van Meter finished 21st in 25:01.20, with Brooklyn Schafer close behind her in 22nd in 25:01.60. Lillie Lauzon rounded out the ACGC performance finishing 24th in 25:21.30. The Chargers will have the next week off. They will compete again Oct. 10 at the Jewell Golf and Country Club.
