ACGC’s Emerson Van Meter was named to the West Central Activities Conference First team for her performances in the 2023-2024 season. The senior pitcher finished the season with 102 strikeouts and a 2.68 ERA in her 21 games on the mound. She kept opponents’ batting average to .245. On offense, Van Meter batted .282 with 12 RBIs.
Teammates joining Van Meter are senior outfielder Jenna Rowley and utility senior Reagan Carney on the second team. Rowley hit one homerun and added 11 RBIs, batting .338. Her 39 total bases were second-best on the team. Carney led all ACGC players in RBIs with 25. She also hit two home runs, led the team in total bases with 43 and led in batting average, hitting at a .377 clip.
Jayla Hoover and Mersadez Richter both received honorable mentions. On offense, Hoover had 10 RBIs and batted .200, reaching 13 total bases. Defensively, Hoover had 45 assists and 36 putouts. Richter also contributed 10 RBIs and reached base 33 times. Her batting average was .365, second-best among ACGC hitters. On defense, Richter had 47 assists and 38 putouts.
