The Panorama girls basketball team (2-5) held a halftime lead in its Friday, Dec. 19 game at No. 8 ACGC (7-0). The Panthers were up, 17-12, heading into the second half, but a strong third quarter from the Chargers, and an even stronger fourth, led them to the 10-point win. The loss ends the Panthers’ two game winning streak but holding firm against one of the best teams in 2A is a good sign for the squad heading forward.

Morgan Crees stuffed the stat sheet in this game, leading the team with 18 points, seven steals, tied for the lead in rebounds with Ruth Fett with five, and tied for Lexi Galvan in assists with two.

The girls team goes on winter break and will return to the court on Jan. 5 at Pleasantville (4-3).
