On Wednesday, July 3, Panorama softball (7-21) defeated East Union (4-21) away from home. Despite the 12-run win, Panorama was down at the end of the first inning, 3-1. Panorama added six runs in the top of the second inning and never looked back. Several Panorama players had multiple RBI performances. Jaidyn Sellers and Lindy Nelson each had three RBIs. Emma Walker, Bridgete White, Elah Malloy and Andrea Knode all had two RBIs. Hanna Smith and Ava Thompson both had one RBI. Sellers nearly hit for the cycle, only missing the double. Arilyan Steenblock pitched a complete game. She had six strikeouts in 122 pitches. The 20 runs Panorama put up were the most in a single game this season and came at a good time. This performance could boost momentum ahead of the regional playoff game against South Central Calhoun (1-17) on Monday, July 8 at home.
