On Tuesday, June 25, Panorama baseball (8-15) hosted Interstate 35 (20-6) in a doubleheader. Interstate 35 won the first game, 4-0. Panorama would respond, winning game two, 7-1.

Game 1

The Panthers were blanked in the first leg, 4-0. Interstate 35’s Chase Dixon was dominant on the mound, pitching all seven innings and striking out nine batters while only giving up two hits. Trey Boettcher and Mason Carstens shared the mound for Panorama. Boettcher pitched four innings, striking out four batters. Carstens pitched the remainder of the game, striking out one batter.

Game 2

The second leg was a different story. The Panthers picked up a massive conference victory over one of the WCAC’s best. Panorama rattled off six runs in the bottom of the third inning on its way to a 7-1 win. Panorama had 10 hits on the night, all singles. RBIs came from Cruz Crandall and Bryce Dawes with two each, and Brayden Meinecke, Brayden Galvan and Carstens contributed one apiece.

Panorama’s next game will be at home on Tuesday, July 2 against Atlantic (1-17).
