STATE QUALIFIER. Panorama senior Sam Bassett eyes the finish and his first trip to the state cross country meet with a fourth-place finish at the Class 1A state-qualifying meet Thursday. A bitter sweet run on his home course, Bassett turned in a time of 18:23.49.
