TURKEY MEAL. Sixty individuals and families that are in need will be able to enjoy a full turkey meal this Thanksgiving due to the efforts of Faith Bible Church and the local Food Pantry, who were able to purchase 60 bags of food items to make a Thanksgiving meal. The Panorama FEA and FCCLA chapters helped assemble the bags and bring them to the church. Panora Hometown Foods ordered the food. Helping assemble the bags were (from left) Brody Steenblock, Arilyan Steenblock, Joselyn Carrillo, Dezirae Klinkefus, Savana Mobley, Shayna Elliott and Gianluca Sigismondi.

SCOPING OUT THE BAND. To enjoy the halftime show by the Adair-Casey band during Saturday’s 8-man football semifinal game, Bridgett Pankonen, left, and Kaylie Plowman had to shield their eyes from the bright, low November sun. The Adair girls were part of a large Bomber following. Sun won’t be a problem for Adair-Casey fans this Saturday as the Bombers play in the UNI-Dome at Cedar Falls at 10 a.m.
