On Tuesday, July 9, 10 Sunshine Club members met at the Raccoon Ridge Music Hall for their meeting at 1 p.m. Gina Lloyd, vice president, presided in the absence of Trudy. The roll call was: “What trip are you planning this year or what trip have you been on?” Many different answers were given. The minutes of the previous meeting were read, and the treasurer’s report was given. Our Mystery Trip will be Aug. 16, and we are to meet at the Panora grocery store parking lot near the sign just inside the drive. We need to let Trudy know if you will be going and if you are able to drive to be sure to have enough room for everyone. We will be leaving at 8 a.m. and return late afternoon/evening. Meeting adjourned.
We then had three teachers come and teach some of us line dancing. It was a lot of fun, even though some of us had two left feet, Snacks and lemonade were served. It was an enjoyable afternoon.
