On Tuesday, Oct. 8, eight members of the Sunshine Club gathered at the home of Chari Heldenbrand for an 11 a.m. meeting followed by a delicious luncheon. Vice President Gina Lloyd opened the meeting in the absence of President Trudy. Roll call was “a fall memory.” Many memorable answers were given. The minutes from last month’s meeting were read, and the treasurer’s report was given. Several birthdays and anniversaries were mentioned. Discussion was about our annual Christmas party with Gina contacting a local restaurant to see if it is available. It was tabled until next month about a gift bag exchange for Christmas. Members voted on changing our meetings in 2025 to return to Wednesdays instead of Tuesdays.
Next month’s meeting will be hosted by Charlotte Jackson and held at 1 p.m. at the Panora Library. Meeting adjourned. The remainder of the afternoon was spent playing cards.
