The ACGC girls basketball team (9-2) bounced back from its loss to Exira-EHK with an away win against Woodward-Granger (7-4) on Tuesday, Jan. 13. ACGC dominated the first quarter, allowing W-G to score only two points. Camdyn Richter led in scoring with 14 points, but the most dominant performance of the game came from Stella Largent, who scored 11 points and grabbed 15 rebounds for the double-double. Meranda Gruber joined them in double-figure scoring with 11 points, adding five assists.
The girls return to their home court tonight against another tough WCAC opponent, Earlham (9-3). ACGC beat Earlham twice last season, once in the regular season, 54-49, and again in the playoffs, 60-40.
