The Panorama boys basketball team (0-4) fell at home due to a strong second half performance from Earlham (4-0) on Tuesday, Dec. 9. Panorama led at the end of the first quarter by one point and only trailed by three heading into halftime, 29-26. Earlham slowly extended its lead over the Panthers throughout the second half. Reed Draper led the game in scoring with 17 points, Cruz Crandall was close behind with 14. Draper’s game-high 11 rebounds gave him a double double. Galvan led the team in assists with four.
The Panthers are surely frustrated with an 0-4 start, but with two of those games being lost by single digits, the team appears to be heading in the right direction. Their next game is tonight, Friday, Dec. 12, against West Central Valley (2-1). WCV won both games of the season series a year ago, but both were close, 55-48 and 55-51.
