Kylie Rochholz had the best time for the Panthers. The sophomore placed 14th in 19:32.3, a season-best, which earned her a medal and an IATC First Team All-State spot. Laicey Lutz placed 34th in 20:15.6. Maddy Lutz finished 101st in 22:05.3, a lifetime best. Nella Rivas placed 115th in 22:32.6, a lifetime best. Almiranda Burnett was close behind, placing 117th in 22:43.6. Mary Fett placed 121st in 22:58.1, a season-best. Corrie Knapp finished 137th in 24:01.6, a lifetime best.
“The girls team came into the season unranked and only had three out of the 10 runners on the roster with at least one full year of high school cross country season,” Head Coach Greg Thompson said. “The last half of the season, all of the girls really figured out the idea of running as a team and staying close together. Once they did that, I thought they could be a top-10 team. This team was very coachable and made it fun to coach.”
Two Panthers earned All-Conference honors in the WCAC. Rochholz earned First Team All-Conference and Lutz earned Second Team All-Conference.
