The ACGC boys basketball team (0-3) lost its away game to Van Meter (2-0) on Tuesday, Dec. 9. ACGC recovered from a rough start, leaving the first quarter down 14-2. The Chargers battled their way back heading into the final quarter down by just four points, 36-32. V-M would take back control in the fourth quarter, leading to the Bulldogs win.
Joe Crawford and Thomas Skram led the way in scoring with 15 points each. Crawford also led the team in rebounds with six. Preston Kent led the team in assists with three. The Chargers’ next game is at home tonight, Friday, Dec. 12, against Ogden (1-3). ACGC has won its last four games against the Bulldogs, including two games last season, 73-46 and 76-65.
