The Panorama School District weight room project has officially reached 100% of its fundraising goal thanks to a massive wave of local support. Panora Fiber, Iowa Trust, Farmers State Bank of Yale, and Guthrie County State Bank committed funds to fully fund the weight room, pushing the campaign across the finish line. With full funding now secured, work on the renovated facility will officially begin within the next month.
The combined pledges from these four local organizations provide the final resources needed to transform the current training space into a modern strength and conditioning facility for student-athletes and physical education programs.
“Having four of our hometown pillars step up together to complete this campaign means the world to our school,” Bruce Dahlhauser, activities director, said. “Panora Fiber, Iowa Trust, Farmers State Bank of Yale, and Guthrie County State Bank continually prove how deeply invested they are in our local youth. We genuinely can’t thank them enough for their leadership and for making sure our students have top-tier facilities right here at home. It’s a powerful example of what our community can accomplish when local organizations come together for our kids.”
The upcoming renovation will outfit the space with specialized strength equipment, updated safety features and custom training gear tailored to Panther athletic programs.
