Panorama girls and boys golf meets cancelled

The Panorama girls and boys golf teams were going to compete at a conference quad meet on Monday, April 6 at Deer Run Golf Club, but both events were cancelled. The boys were scheduled to play at the South Hamilton 18-hole meet against four other schools, but that was also cancelled. The next meet for the boys is the Des Moines Christian Boys Golf Invite on Thursday, April 9 at Jester Park Golf Course. Panorama competes against Atlantic, Coon Rapids-Bayard, Des Moines Christian, Hampton-Dumont-CAL, PCM, Perry and Treynor.

The next meet for the girls is on Thursday, April 9 against ADM at home.

Panther girls play Grand View Christian today

The Panorama girls soccer team travels to Des Moines to face Grand View Christian today, Tuesday, April 7. Panorama is 5-0 all time against GVC with the most recent result being a 5-0 win for the Panthers in 2023.

Kip Janvrin Invitational cancelled for Panorama boys and girls

The Panorama boys and girls track and field teams were set to host the annual Kip Janvrin Invitational track and field meet, but it was cancelled. The next meet for the boys and girls is the Ram Early Bird, hosted by Greene County on Friday, April 10.

Charger girls win opening quad

The ACGC girls golf team won its opening meet at the Woodward Golf Club, hosted by Madrid on Monday, April 6. ACGC shot a team score of 222. Behind them were Pleasantville, 232, West Central Valley, 247, and Madrid with no score. Pleasantville’s Laney Harvey was the medalist, shooting a 51. ACGC’s best score came from Alli DeWitt who shot a 53, placing 4th overall. Ava Sneller was right behind her in fifth, shooting a 54. Lucy Knutter shot a 57 for seventh overall. Rylee Robson placed 10th shooting a 58. Carrie Downing placed 18th shooting a 76, and Allie Wiers placed 20thshooting a 79.

The girls next meet is on Thursday, April 9 at the Greenfield Country Club hosted by Nodaway Valley. ACGC will compete against NV, CAM and Creston.

The ACGC boys and girls track and field teams were set to compete at the Kip Janvrin Invitational at Panorama today, Tuesday, April 7, but the meet has been cancelled. The next meet for both teams will be the Bill Miller Invite at Van Meter on Thursday, April 9.
