Guthrie County Deputy Sheriff Jeremy Bennett reported a single-vehicle accident occurring on Oct. 26 on 160th Road. Dustin Michael Woods, 34, of Guthrie Center, was driving a 1996 Freightliner tractor/semi-trailer northbound on Sycamroe Avenue and made a left turn onto 160th Road and dropped the trailer off into the eastbound ditch, rolling the train trailer. The vehicle came to rest in the roadway, dumping grain into the ditch and roadway. Estimated damage to the Freightliner is $35,000 and estimated damage to the grain trailer, which is owned by Austin James Smith of Yale, is $20,000.
