Special to the Times Vedette
A total of 80 displays were set up as part of the 31st annual Guthrie Center Park Holiday Lights at Mitchell Park during the holiday season.
“Thank you for spending your time and resources to make our park sparkle once again,” Mary Jo Laughery said on behalf of the committee that put on the event. “The public drove through the lighted milk jugs to enjoy the 80 displays that were assembled from businesses, individuals, churches, school students, clubs and family memorials. Also thanks to those who donated financially to help make this an awesome memory maker.”
Laughery noted that three new displays were put up this year, and they welcome new displays each Christmas season.
