Charger boys place 4th at WCAC quad

The ACGC boys golf team compete at a conference quadrangular at Woodward Golf Club on Thursday, April 24. ACGC shot a 181 at the meet. Panorama won the meet, shooting 159. Interstate 35’s Jack Glenn had the best nine-hole low of the competition, shooting a 36. ACGC’s Casey Young had a top 10 score, shooting a 42 to tie for ninth as an individual. The Chargers’ next meet is at 5 by 80 Golf and Country Club hosted by Earlham on Tuesday, April 29. ACGC will compete against host Earlham, Des Moines Christian and Interstate 35.

Crawford, Schneider, Sorenson and Madsen to compete at Drake Relays

The 4×100-meter relay team consisting of Joe Crawford, Brexton Schneider, Kade Sorensen and Eli Madsen will represent the ACGC boys track and field team at the Drake Relays on Saturday, April 26. The boys are in heat three and will race against Fairfield, Shenandoah, Decorah, Crestwood Cresco, Keokuk, Independence and Des Moines East.

ACGC track meet at West Central Valley cancelled

The ACGC boys and girls track teams were set to hit the blocks at the West Central Valley Relays on Thursday, April 24, but the competition was cancelled due to the weather. The boys’ and girls’ next meet is at Audubon on Tuesday, April 29. The boys will compete against 12 other teams, and the girls will compete against 10 other teams.

Panorama places 3rd at Des Moines Christian Invitational

The Panorama girls golf team shot a 450 to place third at the Des Moines Christian Invitational on Tuesday, April 22, at Jester Park Golf Course. Host Des Moines Christian won the meet, shooting 356. The best Panorama score of the day came from Hannah Nicols, who shot 101.

Panorama win streak extends to 5 against Van Meter, 2-1

The Panorama girls soccer team (5-2) defeated Van Meter (6-5) on Thursday, April 24. The game was tied at half time, 1-1. Panorama took the lead in the second half to extend its win streak. Panorama’s next game is at Ballard (2-5-1) on Tuesday, April 29. The Panthers faced Ballard twice last season, winning 9-0 and 3-0.
