The public is invited to join upcoming events at The New Homestead in Guthrie Center.
On Saturday, April 12, Lela Schwartz will be celebrating her 90th birthday at the Independent Living campus at The New Homestead. All are welcome.
Monday, April 14, tenants from Independent Living will be having lunch at Café on the Hill at noon. All are welcome.
Wednesday, April 23, an open house will be held 4:30-6 p.m. at The New Homestead. Chili and desserts will be provided. There will also be a roundtable discussion about hospice services, including staff from Care Initiatives Hospice, Hospice of the Midwest, Gentiva Hospice, and St. Croix Hospice.
A blood drive will be held at The New Homestead on Friday, May 16, 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. To schedule a donation, call LifeServe Blood Center, 800-287-4903.
Wednesday, May 14, The New Homestead will hold a drive-thru grill-out event, 5-7 p.m.
The New Homestead is located at 2306 State St. in Guthrie Center.
