The ACGC girls cross country team competed at the Southeast Valley Invite on Thursday, Aug. 28. The Chargers did not have enough participants to score. Madrid won the meet with 41. Despite lacking a team score, ACGC still had a top-10 placement in Cadence Petersen, who took ninth in 22:43.13. Not far behind her was Brooklyn Schafer, who placed 14th in 23:11.98. Lillie Lauzon placed 27th in 25:06.42. Elizabeth Drake placed 46th in 26:48.15.

ACGC’s next meet is the Madrid cross country meet on Tuesday, Sept. 2. ACGC competes against Indianola, Van Meter, Dallas Center-Grimes, Carlisle and Atlantic.
