The ACGC boys cross country team competed at the Southeast Valley Invite on Thursday, Aug. 28. ACGC placed 13thwith a team score of 296. East Sac County won the meet, scoring 48. Despite the lower finish, ACGC had one of the best overall times from Preston Kent, who finished fifth in 17:42.53. Jameson Pfrang had the next best ACGC time, placing 52nd in 21:27.10. Cameron Mozingo placed 67th in 22:42.39. Ryne Noland placed 82nd in 23:33.69. Tai Riordan placed 108th in 25:50.47. Bryce Benda placed 134th in 29:03.21. ACGC’s next meet is at Dallas Center-Grimes on Tuesday, Sept. 2. Other teams competing will be Carlisle, Van Meter, Indianola, Dallas Center-Grimes and Atlantic.
