The No. 8 ACGC girls basketball team (4-0) extended its undefeated start to the season with a win at Van Meter (2-1) on Tuesday, Dec. 9. ACGC exploded in the second quarter, outscoring V-M 21-6 to give the Chargers a 35-18 lead heading into halftime, which they would carry to victory. Camdyn Richter led ACGC in scoring with 17 points on 6/8 shooting from the field. Meranda Gruber joined her in double figures with 12. Stella Largent led the team in rebounds with eight. Richter was close behind with seven. Becca Littler filled the stat sheet with eight points, a game-high five assists, four rebounds and three steals.

The Chargers face Ogden (0-5) at home tonight, Friday, Dec. 12. ACGC has won the last 13 matchups against the Bulldogs, including two blowout victories last season, 57-7 and 78-14.
