Rochholz captures a 1st and 2nd as Panorama finishes 9th at track and field qualifying event

The Panorama girls track and field team competed at the state-qualifying meet at Treynor High School May 14, placing ninth with 44 points. The host team, Treynor, captured first with 153 points, with Clarinda in second with 114 points.

Kylie Rochholz captured first in the 1,500 meters and second in the 3,000 meters to highlight the scoring. Other top-five finishers were the 4×800-meter relay team of L. Lutz, M. Fett, O. Beaudet and K. Rochholz in fourth; the 4×400-meter relay team of M. Fett; O. Beaudet, L. Lutz and K Rochholz, fifth; and Emma Walker, fifth, shot put.
