The Panorama Panthers Trap Team held a “home shoot” event on Saturday, May 9. Coach Heather Isom explained that the home shoot format allows kids and their parents to participate.
Coach Isom said the local team started in 2021 and now has 24 kids participating in grades seven through 12. Panorama’s team is one of more than 35 in Iowa. The season runs from mid-March through the first week of June.
Team member Danica Isom shared her perspective.
“This is my fourth year on the team,” she said. “I’ve been to state two years. It’s a lot of fun.”
