SIXTH-GRADERS CITED. Seven Guthrie Center sixth-graders were presented the President’s Award for Educational Excellence. To be honored, students must earn a grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and achieve in the 85th percentile or higher in math or reading on the standardized achievement test.
