The Panorama softball team (1-3) lost at home to Madrid (6-1) on Tuesday, June 2. Madrid scored four runs in the first two innings, but Panorama answered back, bringing the score to 4-3 heading into the sixth inning. Madrid scored four more runs in the final two innings to lead them to the win.
“Was a close game throughout but, ultimately we had a couple things not go our way and cost us the game. We put the ball in play and our team had a lot of energy and played hard for one another,” Head Coach Ismael Galvan said. “Bridgete White and Andrea Knode had great nights going three hits apiece to lead our team. So proud of this group and the energy they bring every game, and I know even though we lost the game tonight I know we are trending in the right direction.”
White’s 3/3 performance included two RBIs, leading the team. Two of Knode’s hits were doubles. Elah Molloy and Hannah Dishman had one RBI each. Knode also spent the entire game on the mound for Panorama, striking out five batters.
