The Panorama softball team (4-6) lost to West Central Valley (6-2) at home on Monday, June 8. This was a chance to avenge the loss to WCV from Saturday, but the girls fell just short. The game was tied 5-5 after five innings. WCV added two runs in the top of the seventh that helped secure the win.
Ines Gimeno-Perez led the way with two RBIs and a double. Emma Walker with a double and single and Bridgete White with a double and single contributed multi-hit games. Andrea Knode, Hannah Dishman and White all had one RBI apiece. Knode and Galvan split time on the mound. Knode had one strikeout in two and two-thirds innings. Galvan had five strikeouts in four and one thirds.
The next game for the girls is against Ogden (7-1) away from home tonight, Tuesday, June 9. Ogden has won the last eight games over Panorama, including both last season, 12-2 and 15-4.
