The ACGC softball team (2-7) lost a pair of games against WCAC opponents at West Central Valley on Saturday, June 6. WCV (5-2) and Panorama (4-5) earned wins over the Chargers.

Vs. West Central Valley, 9-3 L

All three of ACGC’s runs in this game were scored in the fifth inning. Tessa Slaybaugh went 2/3 with one single and one double. Caydence Boals knocked in a two-RBI double for her one hit. Karlie and Kailee Kautzky both had singles. Olivia Mahaffey walked in one RBI. Megan Underwood was on the bump, pitching all five innings and striking out three batters.

Vs. Panorama, 8-3 L

Panorama jumped out to an early lead with six runs in the first inning. ACGC scored two runs in the second and one run in the fourth for their offense. ACGC had four hits, all singles, coming from Karli Kautzky, Trinity Calhoun, Jerzee Huss and Tessa Slaybaugh. Runs were scored by Huss with two and Calhoun with one. Huss also pitched in this contest, only allowing five hits.
