The Raccoon River Valley Trail (RRVT) is temporarily closed from 110th Street to 100th Street at the Greene County line, north of Herndon.
The closure is necessary while Northern Natural Gas works along the RRVT right-of-way. Due to the presence of heavy equipment and construction activity, this section of the trail will remain closed for the safety of trail users and construction crews.
The trail will reopen once the work is finished. Check the Guthrie County Conservation Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/GuthrieCCB for updates. County officials say the appreciate the public’s patience and understanding while this work is completed.
